Siyamthanda Thomas popularly known as Mailo Music, is a versatile dj, music and executive producer. He hails from Khayelitsha - one of the biggest townships in Cape Town South Africa. Mailo had discovered his passion and was smitten by the art of music at a young age. This kickstarted his musical adventure, a journey that has since been very fulfilling to him. His sound encapsulates a raw, crisp take on melody- driven songs. The versatility he possesses ranges from house to all-round dance music. Mailo Music's biggest moment came when he was crowned the 2018 master of spin on "1's and 2's" - a reality show on SABC 1 with over 3 million viewers that searches for the "Next Big Thing" in the music business.
