Siyamthanda Thomas popularly known as Mailo Music, is a versatile dj, music and executive producer. He hails from Khayelitsha - one of the biggest townships in Cape Town South Africa. Mailo had discovered his passion and was smitten by the art of music at a young age. This kickstarted his musical adventure, a journey that has since been very fulfilling to him. His sound encapsulates a raw, crisp take on melody- driven songs. The versatility he possesses ranges from house to all-round dance music. Mailo Music's biggest moment came when he was crowned the 2018 master of spin on "1's and 2's" - a reality show on SABC 1 with over 3 million viewers that searches for the "Next Big Thing" in the music business. Mailo has shared stages with icons in the music industry including the likes of DJ Black Coffee, Black Motion, DJ Tira, Riky Rick, Nasty C to name few. He currently released some few projects namely Sanibonani EP, Wish you were here, Inkinga, and Buya. His working on his album Bayethe.
