Shamala, born in Kiev, Ukraine, raised in Cuba, since 2013 living and working in Munich Germany. She is a composer/songwriter/producer and has composed and recorded music in a wide range of styles from classical intimate scores, epic orchestral to electronic/pop tracks. In Kiev in 2009 she graduated Tchaikovsky Music Academy with Master of Arts as a concert pianist and composer. Living in Ukraine she was a keyboard player and songwriter in the pop Ukrainian band SIRENA – winner of an MTV AWARD "Best Ukrainian Band" (2011) and was one of the European nominees for the Best World Wide Act. Since 2014 she is working as a film and advertising composer for companies like BBDO group, Publicis Group, Velvet Film production, and got an opportunity to record her scores with an Oscar winning Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra - SIF 309.
