Shamala, born in Kiev, Ukraine, raised in Cuba, since 2015 living and working in Munich Germany. She is a film music composer, pianist, singer, music producer and has composed and recorded music in a wide range of styles from classical intimate scores, epic orchestral to electronic/pop, ambient and chill-out music. In Kiev in 2009 she graduated Tchaikovsky Music Academy with Master of Arts as a concert pianist. Living in Ukraine she was a keyboard player and songwriter in the pop Ukrainian band SIRENA – winner of an MTV AWARD "Best Ukrainian Band" (2011) and was one of the European nominees for the Best World Wide Act. Since 2014 she is working as a film and advertising composer for companies like BBDO group, Publicis Group, Velvet Film production, and got an opportunity to record her scores with an Oscar winning Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra - SIF 309. She collaborates as a composer, singer and music producer with international music labels and production music companies like Warner-Chappell, LAB HITS, Fliktrax., Machiavelli, Gold Leaf Library. She wrote and produced an album with the Grammy awards Winner Adrian Bushby, producer of Muse and Foo Fighters. She wrote music for short films, documentaries and commercials.
