Kuba Oms is one of those rare artists whose voice touches you deep in your soul. He commands the stage with the same ease and compelling aura that mark the global superstars of today and yesterday. His new single, Freedom, drops worldwide on October 18th, and is a reinvention of sorts, as Kuba goes back to his soul and R&B roots. He enlisted some of Canada’s premiere talent for his new soul project including Ben Kaplan (2020 JUNO Producer of the Year) and co-producer John Raham (Frazey Ford). Inspired by the old Motown sound, everything was recorded live off the floor, through vintage gear and straight to 2” tape. Kuba is a South-Asian Canadian artist who has toured extensively across North America, having performed over 1000 shows, including showcases at SXSW and CMW. In 2015, he won a Latin Grammy for his work on Alex Cuba’s Healer Album for which he participated as a Songwriter and Vocalist.
