Kuba Oms is one of those rare artists whose voice touches you deep in your soul. He commands the stage with the same ease and compelling aura that mark the global superstars of today and yesterday. His new single, Stay, drops worldwide on November 29th, and is a reinvention of sorts, as Kuba goes back to his soul and R&B roots. He enlisted some of Canada’s premiere talent for his new soul project including Ben Kaplan (2020 JUNO Producer of the Year) and co-producer John Raham (Frazey Ford). Inspired by the old Motown sound, everything was recorded live off the floor, through vintage gear and straight to 2” tape. Current comparable artists would be Leon Bridges, Michael Kiwanuka and The Teskey Brothers. Kuba is a South-Asian Canadian artist who has toured extensively across North America, having performed over 1000 shows, including showcases at SXSW and CMW. In 2015, he won a Latin Grammy for his work on Alex Cuba’s Healer Album for which he participated as a Songwriter and Vocalist. His second LP, ADHD, provided two top 20 HOT AC and AC radio hits in Canada including My Love, which has over 15 million streams across all platforms.
