Born and raised in Oakland, CA, John Mackk aims to show the world that his style and music can reach beyond the walls and confines of the west coast. As a youngster, John was influenced by bay area music, culture and the streets. As of late, he has become one of the most promising young artists on the west coast with his viral song “Slow It Down” which has accumulated over 110,000 videos and sounds on TikTok.    In the fall of 2021, John gained experience and exposure by touring and opening for one of Stockton’s most influential artists, MBNel on his tour “No Hard Feelings.” In mid 2023, John signed with 10K Projects/Warner Music. This year, John Mackk released several collaborations with the likes of Mike Sherm, 310Babii and Heembeezy. With over 15 million aggregate streams on “Slow It Down,” John looks to capitalize on the attention and showcase his talent and versatility for his upcoming EP release in 2024.
