Born and raised in Oakland, CA, John Mackk aims to show the world that his style and music can reach beyond the walls and confines of the west coast. As a youngster, John was influenced by bay area music, culture and the streets. As of late, he has become one of the most promising young artists on the west coast with his latest viral song “Pose for Me” which debuted at #3 on the Billboard charts and #1 on the TikTok Viral Charts, while accumulating over 1 billion views and 1.4 million videos and sounds on TikTok. His latest viral hit comes on the heels of “Slow it Down” which has roughly 25 million streams across platforms.   In the summer of 2024, John gained experience and exposure by touring and opening for one of the west coast’s most influential artists, Mike Sherm. In August, John performed at Summer Jam with CMG’s Yo Gotti at Oracle Arena. This year John did several collaborations with the likes of 310Babii, Mozzy, Lou Deezy, and Kalan FR. This winter, John will be touring with Luh Tyler on his “Mr. Skii Tour” across the U.S.
