Sakis Abatzidis is a musician, composer and songwriter based in Thessaloniki, Greece. As a composer explores the relationship of music autonomously as well as other arts (cinema, theater, contemporary dance) and technology (electronic music) and approaches the various musical traditions in such a way as to reconcile all these elements in the composition of his music. Since 2001 he has actively participated in concerts of chamber music, modern music and music for the cinema, theatre and the performing arts both as a musician and as a composer. He composes orchestral and vocal music as well as music for film, theatre and modern dance.
