Godwin Stephen Ufot (born 26 January 1995), better known by his stage name Godwyn, is a singer, songwriter and professional guitarist from Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. He is the founder of Nigeria’s foremost guitar school Rainbow Fingers Academy. He is known for his unique percussive-finger style of playing the acoustic guitar and would no doubt mostly be referred to as the best acoustic guitarist in Nigeria. Godwyn has long had a passion for music from a very tender age and only started playing the Guitar in 2009 and has developed to become a professional at it. He was discovered on instagram page by Don Jazzy in 2015 which resulted in Don Jazzy producing Godwyn’s first ever studio produced song which he wrote. The song “Promise” featured Mavin Records singer Di’ja. Promise was nominated for Best RNB Single at the Top Naija Music Awards.
