T.I.M. (short for The Incredible Mic) is the stage name of the Dutch musician TJ Blaauwbroek or the name of his rock formation. The band plays a crossover of rock, hip hop, rap, funk and soul. The band name is derived from the vintage Shure 55SH microphone that Blaauwbroek has tattooed on his arm. By sending a demo, Blaauwbroek comes into contact with Herman Brood manager, Koos van Dijk, who then also becomes Blaauwbroek's manager. For the debut album Spoetnik, Blaauwbroek asks a number of his idols by email to collaborate on his CD. Bryan Mantia and Richard Fortus, both from Guns N' Roses , are willing to play on the album, and Dog Eat Dog singer John Connor is also contributing to the album. A live band is put together with guitarist John Hayes (Mother's Finest) bassist Barend "The Bear" Courbois (Zakk Wylde) and drummer Guzz Genser (Herman Brood & His Wild Romance),all of whom also contributed to the album.
