During a creative retreat in the second largest population of Black people in the world, Bahia, Brazil, DeP was inspired to drop a "Black Men Affirmations" video on YouTube. The duration of that video happened to be an angel number which birthed his latest body of work called Angel Numbers and Frequencies. After making noise with his cultural-awakening mixtape, This Shit Can't Wait, DeP quickly returned to the music scene to reconnect listeners with their passions, purpose, higher power and God-self. His goal is to soothe, heal, reconnect and guide listeners through the process of manifestation, intention and healing. Each song on the five-track EP was created with a different frequency (aka: angel number), driving the creative force behind its sonics and lyrics. From “Ash Catchem 528” reclaiming one's purpose and positioning to “Honing Device 777” restoring self-discovery and personal growth to "Alignment 297,” while reminding listeners that Nothing Is Happenstance and that every experience happens in alignment for our greater good, this EP sets a new intentional standard as therapeutic music. "It is our job as creatives to gift the world with truth, observations and, sometimes, solutions beyond creating just another bop," DeP explained. This is a gift to humanity. This is a gift to the culture. This is a gift that speaks to what we feel is needed DeP inside.
