Flatline aka MAGIIKK has been a fan of the afrobeat sound for as long as he can remember and with his roots from Congo, afrobeat has always been a part of his upbringing even growing up in Sweden. After starting making music Magik found himself being more and more drawn to the afrobeat sound. While recording songs for is first EP “Reset” in Stockholm Sweden he came in contact with Nigerian artist Dare Sweet and Nigerian producer by the name P Banks and who helped Flatline to shape his vision in to reality. Flatline told the Swedish urban music website Kingsize magazine (Sweden) in an interview" I wanna show the world my vision of what urban music is from me. The goal is to put Sweden on the afrobeat music map, The goal is to build a bridge between Sweden and other afrobeat loving countries and vibe together.
