Near the end of 2009, following the footsteps of musical acts such as Kanye West, Odd Future, and Lil Wayne who continuously challenged the hip hop soundscape in their respective eras. ShadowsOfSociety members WISE, Jay Stevens, and Siders came together on the school yard of View Park High School in South Central Los Angeles striving to continue the tradition of challenging the current soundscape of hip hop by fusing sounds from other genres such as Pop, Techno, Industrial, Soul while staying true to art form of creating fun, thought provoking lyrics and content. ShadowsOfSociety's music and creative endeavors has led them to perform at venues all around California such as: SOL Venue, The Airliner, The Virgil, CSU Monterey Bay, The Boom Boom Room, House Of Blues (Anaheim), Comfort LA, Clash City Station and Many More.
