XTMPLX are Guenther Bernhart (guitar, vocals) and Thomas Sperlbauer (bass, vocals). The duo founded the electro rock formation Temple X, whose debut album "Xplosion" (2001) was produced by avantgarde musician Frank Tovey. The band collaborated with Tovey and toured as Fad Gadget's backing band until his sudden death in 2002. Bernhart and Sperlbauer reunited as XTMPLX in the early 2010s and released their debut Lightning in 2017. For their most recent release Inside A Silver Machine (Urbs Remix) XTMPLX pair up with downtempo veteran electronic producer Urbs (G-Stone, Compost Records).
