Grew Up in Marcy Projects in Brooklyn, New York, Rocky Dabo$$ (born Shakies Tarelle Daejon Williams in 2001) started recording music on a 2007 Dell laptop as a teenager and writing tracks for his early mixtapes. After an increasingly number of streams on his single (mostly notable 2019’s Run To), Rocky made his debut album with 2019’s Deeper Than Pain, only to be derailed by dealing with the breakup with his girlfriend and family issues. He bounced back later to release (Deceived Emotions).
