Comptalo & The Humanaughts is a Phoenix, Arizona based fusion band blending hip-hop, rock, and jazz into a unique sound. Formed by core members Jarrod Compton, Jayme Fox, Paul Balazs, Tyler Johnston, & Spencer Ferrarin in 2021 during the solo Comptalo music video shoot for "Just Like Me (ft. Chris Galdiano)". The band has seen many formations and additions to its roster such as Jared Michael of Chrome Rhino/A Casual Divorce, Danny Torgersen of Badfish/Dan E.T./Captain Squeegee, and Garrett Jones a.k.a. Groovy Bassoon of A Casual Divorce/Garrett Jones. The band released their debut EP "Dead Sunflower Sessions" in 2022 to an eager audience awaiting the first release from this new formation of the long standing Comptalo name. Currently, the band is wrapping up work on their debut full-length LP "The Weight is Over" which is the first Comptalo project in 8 years to have no featured artists and is the first Humanaughts project to have every member of the live band on it writing and recording their parts. The debut LP "The Weight Is Over" is set to release on March 23rd 2024 on all streaming platforms.
