Central is an emerging Mexican Hard Rock band created in 2015 in Queretaro. The original line up consisted of Rodrigo Feregrino on drums, Ian Victoria on the guitar, bass player Pablo Cuevas, Raul Esparza as lead vocals, Rodrigo Álvarez on the rythm guitar and Christopher Barajas on keyboards. he band began playing small gigs and shows throughout the city and eventually recorded some of their songs, but after a while, as the members grew, so did tensions and problems. In 2017, Raul left the band weeks before a show at the local county fair and the band was force to seek a new frontman. Ian had been studying Music Composition and Arrangement in Mexico City where he met Marc Bucay. The two hit it off quite nicely and in view of the recent departure and need of a singer, Ian invited Marc to audition for the band. After thorough thinking and consideration, the band picked Marc out of three other singers that auditioned, marking the beginning of a new musical era for Central. The band instantly changed their essence, switching from a Pop-Rock oriented band to a much heavier, wilder Hard Rock style, moving to Mexico City as well. They started playing bars festivals, and other gigs until finally they landed a deal to record Just for Today, their first single, releasing it on almost every conceivable music platform available, sending the band off to a new chapter in their journey. Central is currently working on recording its first LP and hopes that it will be available by 2019.
