Roots and hip hop culture mash up in reggae rock and rap artist Dub Souljah. A self taught songwriter, emcee and producer, Dub Souljah has had formal lessons in both piano and guitar as well as teaching himself to drum and program beats. He as released the self produced E.P.s "Visions of Jah" in 2017, "Medicinal" in 2018 and the singles "Elevate" and "Babylon Dem" released in 2019 and “Rastaman Ting” in 2021. Recently he has released singles “Summer Nights” and “Stranded” in Summer and Fall 2022 and a cover of Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise” on Nov 18 2022. He is set to release his self produced debut album on DIY label Symphony Underground Records in early 2023. He is currently Gigging with his backing band throughout the Central Coast, Bay Area and Central Valley California and has opened for Junior Reid, Marlon Asher, The Expendables many local favorites and more.
