Mawaan is an actor, writer and musician from London, known for his surreal comedy and no-holds-barred physical performance style. His stint on ‘Live at the Apollo’ & ‘Taskmaster’ have earned him a spot on Forbes' 30 under 30. This year also saw Mawaan and his band take to stage at Glastonbury festival, as well as the iconic Roundhouse in Camden. His acting and writing roles include Sex Education (Netflix), Two Weeks to Live (Sky), Carnage (BBC), as well as his own TV series Juice (BBC), which he has also made an original soundtrack for: Juice (Original Soundtrack) NME described Juice as “weird, wacky and the best show you'll watch this year.” The Telegraph called it “the most uninhibitedly inventive comedy to hit our screens, and one of the funniest.
