Meike van der Veer always knew for sure; in many friends' book she answered the question what she wanted to be with ‘singer'. The dream of being able to live from her own instrument has come true. Meike sings, writes and performs. She lives with and from the music. 
 Meike's voice could be heard in a sold-out HMH, in the quarter-finals of the very first edition of The Voice, at her annual Meike and Friends concerts, under national radio commercials and during wonderful intimate wedding ceremonies and grand (company) parties. 
 The warmth of her sound covers you with vulnerability and trust and takes you on a personal journey. Meike touches and stills and is always sincere, she lets you sit back and see that music and emotion constantly go hand in hand. 
 Meike released her album ‘Inside’ on april 5, the songs on this record are a journey through her innerworld.
