Born in Los Angeles, CA. Raised in Tijuana, MX till the age of 5, then moved to Chula Vista, CA to get an education in the states. From losing his father for being wanted in the states to his mother being incarcerated all at the age of 12, 2UGLi lived a life in the streets. Getting involved in graffiti, drugs and gangs, all he had was hip hop music to turn to. Being homeless in the streets, dropping out of high school and always getting arrested, he decided to take his music to the next level. After creating a buzz in the golden era in the southern region of San Diego, he formed a hip hop group with his childhood friends called “Apes In English”. Due to creative differences in the group, 2UGLi decided to go solo and eventually landed a deal with Babygrande Rec. That headed south after his near fatal car accident in 2010, but nothing ever stopped him from writing and recording. 7 solo albums later, 2UGLi linked up with A&R Matthew “M80” Markoff, who discovered his talent on social media decided to take him under his wing landing him a deal with hip hop’s most respected independent hip hop record label Fatbeats. Forthcoming album debut on Fatbeats titled “My Day Begins When Yours Ends” will be available 4/8/2022 with his childhood favorites to his talented friends from “UGLi Business” will be featured on this 21 track album.
