John Morgan is an acoustic guitarist living in central Ohio, pursuing the musical dream: performing, teaching, writing and recording. He has released seven CDs, two instructional DVDs and written Foundations for Great Guitar Playing. John is an Artist-in-Residence for Ohio Health, where he performs regularly for oncology patients. He also performs at venues and Festivals throughout Central Ohio. His music has appeared on NPR and numerous TV shows including Echoes with John Diliberto, Martha, Judie Byrd's Kitchen, The Good Wife, Biography A&E, Emeril Green, Underdog to Wonderdog, Art of the Athlete as well as on LaNote Picking Radio (Paris, France) Discography: In This Moment (2015) Quiet World (2014) is a collection of instrumental songs that grew out of John’s experience playing music for oncology patients. Happy Children, Happy Day (2011) A fun collaboration traditional children's music with Noelle Shearer. Motionography (2006), is about movement: flight, swimming, dancing - places: the moon, oceans, stars; and communication: the non-verbal, solo guitar type of communication. Capture the Night (2004) is a collection of Christmas classics arranged for solo acoustic guitar. In 2008 this music was updated and re-released as Music for December. Stories (1999).
