“Diz The Poet” is the cities long tenured artist who’s making a name for himself. Born in Pittsburgh, Diz soon after moved to North Carolina spending his early years growing up in the south with his family. He later moved back to his hometown where his poetry continued to progress for many years. COO of “Out For Ducketts Entertainment” and President of “Poetry In Motion Records”, Diz performed all over Pittsburgh often seen at the “Hard Rock Café”, “Compass Club”, and “The Lounge” in Penn Hills. For three years, Diz’s recent productions focus on writing songs with smooth, mellow, laid back beats, with some of his favorite artists, Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson as inspiration with his introductions. Diz entered the studio with top writer/producer, Tony Price to cowrite songs on a current project in motion. Multiple hit singles have been released including “What A Night, Alone, We Can Get It On, The One That Got Away, So Thankful, and Retribution” in 2020 and 2021 on several platforms. Diz The Poet’s work is featured across social media and will continue to be an immense name in the city of Pittsburgh.
