Billey Madison was born and raised on the Eastside of Detroit, MI. Billey was the first person in his family to obtain a bachelor's degree as well as a Masters Degree. He is a very proud Alumnus of Michigan State University. Growing up his grandmother Essie used to always play Al Green, Marvin Gaye etc which helped him shape his sound and approach to making music. While attending Michigan State University Billey fell in love with music as an art form and decided to invest in music equipment to record himself and began to release music.
