Yung Jagg born Michael Snell hails from Cincinnati, Ohio. He grew up on the Westside of the city in the English Woods housing projects. At the age of 9, he watched the movie Krush Groove for the very first time and after seeing LL Cool J's hunger and passion while he was rapping when he auditioned for Def Jam, at that very moment he fell in love with the art of Hip Hop and knew that when he got older he wanted to rap for a living. At the age of 15 he finally got his courage up and entered the studio with friends from the neighborhood and recorded for the first time. After that studio session he was determined to get better. A Veteran rapper from Cincinnati named “Verbal” a lyrical master, took Jagg under his wing and pushed Jagg to become better. In the fall off 2009 he had a wake up call that would change his life forever, he was a victim of a shooting in which he survived 2 gunshot wounds. Jagg and a fellow rapper from his neighborhood and the group “Merk Gang” rapper DoubleMan, formed a group called P.O.P. They release a mixtape titled “Da Leak” and 2 joint albums 2011 and 2013 under Hustleonian Entertainment. After a brief hiatus, Jagg completed his first solo mixtape "Spit That Shit" Hosted by Master Fresh which was released In 2015 on Livemixtapes.com. In 2018 he released his first street album entitled "Tha Introduction" Entirely produced by “LvLs” and is currently working on 2 new albums titled “Narcos” and “Nine Five” slated to be released soon.
