Hailing from both India and Tanzania and based in London; 1MRN is a fast-rising DJ and producer whose palette spans Afro, Melodic and Progressive House. After releasing his debut single "Missing You" on Anjunadeep rising star Lauren Mia’s imprint Ear Porn Music in January 2020, he came to prominence as winner of the 2020 Beatport Producer Competition with his track “Lost in Medina”. Since then he has built momentum over the last 12 months through a series of releases on underground labels like UK-based Keep Thinking Music and Kenyan label Ewaso Records, culminating in his most recent release on Ryan Murgatroyd's label Swoon Recording. His music has been supported by Progressive House stalwarts like Nick Muir and Airwave and his track “Saloum” is already an Afro House classic, having been heavily supported by Black Coffee in summer 2021. As DJ, He plays at venues across the UK and is a regular at the legendary London venues Ministry of Sound and Egg, where he has supported household names like Hernan Cattaneo, Henry Saiz, Fatima Hajji, and Lilly Palmer.
