DEZ is a new age artiste from Nairobi, Kenya. He grew up in Jerusalem estate where his interest in music was sparked by his mother who was in love with Soul and R&B. From there his interest grew to full blown passion after he listened to a few rap albums from Dr. Dre and Eminem. Shortly after, he started writing his own songs when he was 12 years old. Now, at 21 years of age, he has released the second single ‘Staki Ma Pressure’ from his debut EP ‘Escapades’, slated to drop later this year.
