“Ihyjason” originally started as a solo project with Jason Baum (Lead Vocals) as the only member. Jason was born in 2001 in Walnut Creek California. As a young child he moved to a small town in Washington that’s between Seattle and Portland. His love for music has been present and clear since he started writing and putting out music at the early age of 8 years old. In recent years ihyjason has dove into the Seattle scene and created a name for the project by throwing events such as “Feed the People Fest” & being heavily involved in other events that are prominent within the scene. “Ihyjason” has recently grown into a four piece project featuring: Micha (Drums), Skyy (Guitar) & Will (Bass). This Olympia, WA based band continues to Illuminate the Pacific Northwest scene and be recognized by peers for their experimental sound that includes a unique mix of Punk, Post punk, Goth rock, Surf punk and a hint of hip hop influence.
