Chizo started off his interest in music and writing with a love for poetry and a young age. During his school years he would write poems everyday, which evolved into songwriting after he started playing guitar at age 13. After years of songwriting on guitar, Chizo began to experiment with writing raps to really explore his lyrical side. Turning to rap offered him a unique outlet, to vent issues and conflicts in his life in an artistically satisfying manner. This turned into a new found passion for lyricism while developing his own style. Today, Chizo continues his musical journey in the form of creating raps focused on exercising lyrical ability, while applying his own unique style and energy to the project.
