On a mission to inject emotive sass into the aggressive complexity of mathcore and prog metal, Kilpréz is a project born out of a passion for bands that cannot be easily pinned down, yet have a clear identity. Armed with an 8 string guitar, 6 string bass and vocals ranging from piercing shrieks and thundering bellows to vulnerable cleans and sassy diatribes, these songs are inspired by both personal experiences and a frustration with the state of the world. Kilpréz takes inspiration from a wide variety of music but most prominent are Psyopus, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, SikTh and Between The Buried And Me.
