Botlhale Phurulla Modisaotsile (born 19 September 1998), affectionately known as 'Mperuh Morepha, is a rapper from Kempton Park, Gauteng, South Africa. His love for music came at the age of 5, and he decided to become a recording musician at 16. He is also a three-time graduate from Rhodes University, with a BA degree in Political and International Studies and Economics, a BA with Honours in Economics, and a Master of Economics in Economics. He is a self-signed artist (Mmino City Records) who defines himself as a straight-edge rapper. He is also a beatmaker and can sing, to some extent. His music is mainly hip-hop with raps in Setswana and English and some Afrikaans. In 2018, he competed at the Red Bull Battle of the Mic, where he won the competition by only freestyling. He has released a few projects, such as Just Coz EP (2020), Life of A Straight-Edge Rapper (2021), Days Before 2022 EP (2022), 2022 EP (2022), 2022 DLX (2022) and MOREPHA EP (2023). At the beginning of 2022, 'Mperuh Morepha released a single titled "Tautona", which has received great praise.
