It took a leap of faith and a sudden move from Melbourne, Australia to Cebu, Philippines in 2019 for Boy Graduate to truly feel like he had a place in this world. He has since become an advocate for foreign Filipino artists throughout the globe and has used this passion to deliver music that tells his story firsthand. Boy Graduate’s most recent release ‘Numb’ received great success and sparked a run of showcases throughout Manila and Cebu in December 2022. The release also enjoyed placement on Spotify’s editorial ‘New Music Friday Friday’ and regular rotation on one of Metro Manila’s biggest terrestrial radio stations - Magic 89.9, where he was also interviewed during his visit. Over the last year, he has also received support from publications such as MYX GLOBAL, Yahoo PH, Asia Pop 40, Wish USA, The Philippines Times Aus and, The Freeman Cebu. 2023 will see Boy Graduate returning to The Philippines on a regular basis as he commits to embracing his Filipino culture and delivering vulnerable, real life and relatable experiences for those willing to be a part of the ride.
