As a Hip-Hop purist, lyrical wordsmith and an expert in destroying the illest of beats, Humþlack has spent decades refining his sound, chipping away at the very craft that has fueled his essence from day one. 
 Born into a music-loving family in Hartford CT, a combination of his mother’s Motown soundtracks, his father's love for Reggae and Dancehall, his sister's passion for the yo MTV Rap era and his Grunge influences from an education in the suburbs sparked a deep admiration for music from his earliest days. However, it wasn't until his ears were graced by the sounds of Nas' and Lauryn Hill's 'If I Ruled The World' that it dawned upon him that Hip-Hop was much more than just words. 
 Having always been a poet at heart, Humþlack has always found spare time alongside his job as a professional firefighter to write and record the music that he loves. Offering uniquely intricate and thought-provoking wordsmithery on his productions, his ethos is to celebrate quality lyricism and the craft of making listeners think deeper. 
 For 15 years Humþlack has been writing rhymes with his cousins under the banner of their squad 'Black Prez', a collective that happens to be extremely street while also being extremely great at rap. During this time he has also released a number of mixtapes, all of which have helped him hone in on his signature sound.
