Scott Michael Cavagan is a solo artist hailing from the North east of England, his musical style is a unique blend of visceral and emotive rock, huge chorus and pop sensibilities with a punk rock edge. He has received airplay on ITV, BBC, Planet Rock and KERRANG radio and has collaborated with THE STEREOPHONICS ’ Jamie Morrison and SPACE keyboardist Franny Griffiths. His acoustic version of Eyes Without A Face was shared by BILLY IDOL in 2021. In 2019 Scott released his much anticipated debut album ‘21st Century Love’ via Sapien Records with a raft of special guests including THE STRANGLERS’ Baz Warne, THE 1975’s sideman John Waugh, THE ORDINARY BOYS bassist James Gregory and Jeff Mantas founder of metal legends VENOM. The album was promoted across social media by Sean Moore of MANIC STREET PREACHERS (Cavagans heroes) leading up to its release. Promoting the album saw Scott appear in session on BBC Introducing as well as being personally invited to play two instore HMV performances. He ended 2019 supporting former MOTLEY CRUE and current DEAD DAISES vocalist John Corabi. An EP 'To Be Someone' was released in August 2021 via Sapien Records, showing a harder political edge with Powerplay Magazine claiming 'This EP will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.' A new single Guilty Pleasure was released in November 2022 along with a remix by Franny Griffiths of multi platinum selling band SPACE.
