Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Abby Dallas grew up in the sunny town of Portmore, where from the age of 6 she was exposed to music through her Church, School and Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) Sponsored Events. Time and time again, Abby was recognized for her outstanding vocal talent that culminated in a scholarship to the premier music college in Jamaica, the Edna Manley College of Performing and Visual Arts, where she gained a diploma in Music Performance. Abby has been writing, arranging and recording songs and has gained the respect of Jamaicans through hit songs and touring with International Artists like Diana King and Tanya Stephens. She has also done session and backing work with accomplished talents like Dean Fraser, Shaggy, Queen Ifrika, Mavado and Yellowman. Her easy going and relaxing style, which often reminds one of Nina Simone, makes her a favourite on the Cabaret and Jazz circuits as well as National Gala Events.
