Woods, the Mighty is an American recording artist and songwriter, known for his lo-fi/punk-pop influenced rap music. Born Robert W. Arnold Jr. in North East Philadelphia, he spent a decade of his life there before moving to the mid-west with his parents and two brothers. Growing up in isolation with a feeling of "culture shock" left its imprint on young Mighty and allowed him to develop a sense of separation between himself and the rest of the world. He discovered rap music, which allowed him to reconnect with the world and eventually returned to the East Coast to finish high school in Southern New Jersey, where he began to take on his own musical endeavors. Throughout high school, he completed mixtape after mixtape, studying the craft and creating his own sound. Despite attempting college, he dropped out to pursue his own path in the music industry. To date, he has upwards of 30 records streamable on popular streaming platforms.
