Hand-crafted electronic music of a symbiotic lifeform, made up in equal parts of soulful virtuosity and lyrical songs. Residing in the deep sounds of contemporary electronica, it is called Komplement. In 2019 the duo opened for Ásgeir on his German tour leg in 2019 and performed at the c/o pop festival. The characteristic sound of Komplement stems from an engaging live performance approach, in which De Rien provides the groove with one hand on the bass synth, the other finger-drumming lively beats, while Head Under Water forms dreamy soundscapes on a bed of chords and vocals, communicating their electronic drenched tracks in true live style.
