A new era of Big One has begun in 2024, but let's not forget the story that got us here. Representing South East Melbourne, Big One Luca G (now known as Big One The Chieftain) has steadily cemented himself and his sound in the Melbourne hip-hop scene since 2012, beginning with a string of early mixtapes and EP's, culminating in his dark, hard hitting release 'Already Dead' in 2019. Combining elements of classic hip-hop and modern sounds together with a gritty, underground tone and signature philosophical content, as well as performing on shows supporting Australian heavyweights including Fortay, Huskii, and Mitchos da Menace just to name a few, Big One immortalised himself in the Australian hip-hop scene. Big One's latest release 'Ford Laser Dreams', a seven track EP detailing journeys of consciousness and self through hard hitting beats and large hooks was released December 4 2020.
