The name Lil Mane came from a random rap name generator. The Universe would have it that it’d be connected to my real name, Franco Leon Rada Ortiz (Leon: Lion in Spanish) Born in Jalisco, Mexico, I grew up watching my mom professionally dance for a living since a very young age. Music was a very big part of my life from the beginning. But watching her on stage grew the love for it which one day would be mine to express. 
When I was 7, we moved to Baltimore Maryland. I picked up English, then picked up a guitar. Fast forward a couple years and all with a microphone and a demo version of Fl Studio, 12 year old lil mane is producing and engineering his first Original song, "Broke.” The name Lil Mane quickly spread around school as a good laugh or a head turner. Most turn their heads. The Lil Mane movement really took off when I got My songs on all platforms. People went crazy with the melodic sound and druggy, heartbroken lyrics of a 13 year old boy. This is the Lil Mane that everyone knew. But a head first dive into other realms transformed my whole experience. The music has turned so psychedelic. Changing up themes and even genres. Going from drugs, 808s and heartbreak to… a little bit of drugs, spirituality, sex and guitar riffs. Close Your eyes and let my soul sing to Your soul.
