Over the past 5 years Ashmawy has solidified his place in Egypt as well as the international music scene. A self-taught electronic music enthusiast, DJ, and producer, Ashmawy scored his first gig in 2016. He has since shared the decks with the likes of Maceo Plex, Ame, Dixon, Stephan Bodzin, Mind Against, Sasha, Adam Port, Artbat, Hernan Cattaneo, Fideles, Mathame, and Colyn, among many others. Inspired by his connection to music, he enjoys translating emotions into electronic beats that keep his crowd dancing till dawn. A regular headliner at Cairo's major clubs, Ashmawy's hypnotizing melodies are not unfamiliar to some of Egypt's festivals, including Sandbox, SBX, Heracleion, and more. He has also represented Egypt in Ibiza's infamous electronic music scene. Working towards establishing his signature sound, as a producer, Ashmawy’s productions frequently hit the charts receiving support from high profile artists such as Tale Of Us, Fideles, Hernan Cattaneo, and more.
