Bars Up is an American rapper born in Los Angeles, California. He is an independent artist whose music is influenced by life growing up in Southern California and Hawaii. He began recording and performing in 2007 with the group Green Eagles, founded by himself and producer AP. Over the next decade he would go on to self-release multiple EPs and mixtapes as he developed and honed in to his sound. In 2016, he released 'Dreams', first as a mixtape, then later commercially as an EP titled Dreams OG. He followed that with a collaborative project with producer/emcee SoundsByMiC titled 15th Street in Summer 2017, and to kickoff 2018 he released the project CRM. 2019 found Bars Up and AP getting the Green Eagles back together, with the addition of SoundsByMiC, to release their self-titled debut album Green Eagles. Drawing inspiration from all genres of music, Bars works to create a sound that is motivating, innovating, and cultivating towards the art of music!
