Repping the beautiful sights and sounds of East Harlem, New York, SerotoninChaser is a multimedia artist cataloguing their mental health journey through art and music. Sero, for short, uses their voice to tell a tragic story of abuse, drugs, and the road to recovery in an effort to bring light to the mental health crisis and the lack of resources available in the United States. Especially to the LGBT community and people of color. Driven by the vibes of both hip-hop and rock, Sero aims to bring mental health music to the forefront. They are inspired by and very often vibe to artists of all genres such as P!nk, Die Antwoord, Felly, In This Moment, Sam Lachow, Linkin Park, Alligatoah, and more. But, Sero’s heart is firmly planted in the indie scene with the likes of Langis Wolf, The Crooked Cleric, Koty DeCent, and Dweez. Together with other indie creators, Sero is hell-bent on forcing the truth to be heard... To a bomb ass beat, no less. Their genre does not align in a singular path. You can find Sero singing something cute and poppy, spittin some fire bars, or screaming to the cry of a guitar. Their music diversity eventually bestowed them the street moniker "Miss Neva Once Miss". To which SerotoninChaser usually responds: “I am a banshee bard.
