“I’m Paula, and I’m a singer and a poet -just as I had always dreamt”. That is how Paula Calbet Boldú defines herself. Her career as a singer started as a teenager, in 2009, when she and her friends started their first band: Päradox. They spent 5 years playing rock and metal covers and writing their first songs. In the meantime, Paula also appeared in an amateur original musical play, called Saupa. After Päradox, she entered The Major Rose Band, a Southern rock cover band, and spent a year there as the second vocalist. In 2017 and together with her bandmates, she started Voël, a new age project involving contemporary dance and poetry, which she left in late 2019. Nowadays, Paula fronts XNIGHT -alternative rock - is half of Aerial, a cover duo with accordionist Milan Řehák. She also sings in Altaveu, a vocal group directed by Gerard Ibáñez. As for studio work, she has recorded backing vocals for bands such as Ankor, Avalanch and Amadeüs, and she has been the lead singer on several commissioned songs from Dante Music Studios, composed, arranged and produced by Isra Ramos.
