Music Pioneer Magik McCoy was born on May 19, 1987. A music fan from the start, Magik McCoy started producing music in his teens. His major success came with the hip-hop group Clear Vision SA and he later co-founded Limpshacks Entertainment in 2008. In 2018 his solo single "Rebatla o jiva (Feat. Maal Vleis) was released on all digital platforms worldwide and it became the best kwaito remix ever. Magik McCoy started Rated Empire Records in 2017 and signed Maal Vleis and Benzo to his label. Early years. Born Mpho Nkuna, Magik McCoy came from a musical background. His parents split up shortly after he was born. He lived with mother, who was in love with another man. He studied in Mafato Primary School and graduated to Ramohlokolo S.S.S, but his interest didn't lie in school work he wanted to make music.
