My songs are nuanced tales of the situations that plague us all. They’re about the misunderstandings we proudly maintain rather than disparage. Although that sounds depressing, I try to uplift my listeners via my production. I explore expressing myself through EDM because I feel the combination of high tempo instrumentation and moody lyrics are the perfect recipe for something bittersweet. “Awfullykind” is an artistic synonym of bittersweet, the embodiment of two opposite ends of a spectrum that make a complete picture. My goal is to unite us all by exposing the grey area that exists between joy and sorrow, ultimately showing us how similar our experiences are no matter how different we may appear.
