Hey I'm Pontea. You pronounce it like Pon-tuh. I write songs. I love rhythm and motion. I love to dance my ass off at the park under a tree alone with my headphones on blast. I play a bunch of instruments and love to beatbox randomly during live sets. Sometimes I feel soulful, sometimes sassy/comical, and currently I feel earthy and folky, always in a healing state of flow. My intention is to be true to my artistry, follow my instincts, then share my truth with you in hopes that you have moments of presence, emotion, and recognition of our oneness while listening. "Home Is Love (I Cry)" is my first release that serves as a passage into a new energy of music I'll be releasing.
