Backclash is the musical moniker of Aman Vanjani, whose sound is as fresh as it is dynamic. Having returned from a yearlong stint in London after doing a course in sound engineering and music production, Backclash’s brand of music is equal parts liberating, chilled and euphoric. Over the years, Aman has evolved from being drawn to playing progressive house to a more pop sound. He cites travelling and nature as two forces driving his shift in sound, backed by his deep understanding of production. His Influences are a reflection of his sound- Kygo, Jon Bellion, and Calvin Harris, so don’t be surprised if you hear him play a lush, happy sound at a club near you, bursting with happy tunes from some of these amazing artists. 2022 will see him produce more music akin to his sound, and play innumerable club events and festival slots around the country.
