After all the rap-smoke in Kansas City clears, only a few real ones still remain. Once labeled a “lone-wolf”, 33-year old Kansas City, Mo. artist, Clarke, is still on a mission. After 2021’s Pedicure Appointment and 2022’s Overland Park Clarke 2 EP, Clarke is back with a new album, I’ll Be Ok. And from the sounds of things, Clarke will certainly be ok! “I feel like I’ve always had something to offer so I never got down once I didn’t pop or blow overnight”, he says. “That’s how I could always stay focused and make the kind of music I make and still have faith in the finished product”.
