STEFANO MANGO Deejay | Producer | Studio Recording The passion for music starts early, in the childhood Stefano grew up listening to rock, soul, blues and classic music. At a age of 6 he holds the first lesson of piano that he will study for over 10 years. Artistically born as a radio DJ at the age of 14, he was presenting top hits through the radio program “Music of my mind”, a mix of soul, funky and dance music. Only few months later,  during 1977, is the time for the first night as guest DJ in a club. Since then Stefano has played music in more then 250 clubs and discos across Italy and Europe. His first record production Koxo Club Band dates back to 1988, the same year of the first investments in musical instruments like  Roland TR 909, Akai S900, Korg M1, Yamaha NS10 and the computer Atari ST1040! The first home recording studio was born! DJ and producer, always committed to both club and studio recording, over the years  Stefano expresses a deep passion for music culminated in 2 gold records, 1 platinum record, movie soundtracks, dance , house , techno & chillout productions, commercials, tv and radio jingles. Among his best works of the 90’s we recall productions with Smallage, Face the bass, Masoko Solo with Datura, Position Pan, Afrika Bambataa, Melissa Bell (singer of Soul2Soul, George Michael, Queen), Amira, Sueno Latino (Remix), DJ Pippi.  Stefano is also remixer of Italian artists and singers like Nek, Paola Turci and Mietta and many others. In 1996 he produces Express of Sound – Real Vibration for Positiva records/EMI UK, the track is ranked #1 for three weeks in the UK dance chart and released in 23 countries worldwide, Pete Tong and Boy George include the track in “The Annual II”, the best of Ministry of Sound. Over the years Stefano continues to search for new sonorities ( House, Tech house, Techno ) and to produce new tracks for major Labels (Guesthouse, Fogbank, 303Lovers, Hotfingers, D:Vision, Mood Funk, Olatu, City Soul, Undercool, 294 rec, ) in the most important electronic music websites. “Many years are passed from the first club party and from the first music production, but the passion remains strong as in the first very day.
